Don’t tell me that the sun is out
Show me the orange sphere in the sky, peering around the cloud, illuminating the distant rolling hills.
Don’t tell me that she is happy
Show me her pearly white teeth, shining out through the darkness. Her glowing face, shone brighter than the sun, more beautiful than the universe.
Don’t tell me that she was surprised
Show me her gaping, wide mouth gasping for air, with her glowing cheeks and the twinkle embedded in her eye. Bursting with energy, she jumped ecstatically to the moon and back.
Don’t tell me that the food was yummy
Show me the steaming hot, luxurious, scrumptious feast cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth.
